This past weekend I attended a Healing Conference at Church of the Resurrection, which I’d happily recommend for anyone who wants to feel immersed in the Holy Spirit. Among other things, while I was there I felt a call to creativity. I don’t think anyone who knows me well will doubt that I have this call, but to me, it’s always been a bit of a question mark….there are always things I need to do BEFORE I get creative. Organize something, build something, structure something–as if the created object needed a shelf to be put on before it could be created! Well, no more. One thing I heard loud and clear this weekend was that the creativity that I see as random and disconnected is in fact held together and structured within me–because it comes out of me, it has a place within me. I don’t need to worry about where it goes after that.
I’m going to answer the creative call and let my home, blog and mind get filled with created things. Don’t be surprised if the look of the blog changes, or if you see more pictures. I’m not exactly sure what’s going to happen, but let’s start flinging paint & see what happens!
By the way, knitting counts as creative paint flinging. So enjoy these pics of recently completed projects.
